“Those Days Are Gone” is a nostalgic reflection on youth, friendship, freedom, and the moments that shape who we become. The song looks back on simpler times, backroads, bonfires, loud radios, first guitars, and nights that felt endless, while recognizing how life changes as we grow older.

I wrote this song as a reminder that even though those days may be behind us, the memories, lessons, and people from that time still stay with us. It’s about appreciating where we came from, holding onto the good moments, and realizing that growing older doesn’t mean losing who we were.

Musically, I wanted the song to feel warm, honest, and uplifting, something that captures both the emotion of looking back and the gratitude of still carrying those memories forward.

“In The Next Life” isn’t about one specific person, it’s about a feeling most people have experienced at some point: those real, meaningful connections that don’t fully come together, no matter how genuine they are.

The story behind this song connects back to a time when I was listening a lot to classic R&B, especially Sam Cooke. That timeless style of music shaped the emotion in this track, simple, honest, and focused on love, longing, and acceptance.

Sometimes it’s timing, sometimes life pulls people in different directions, and sometimes there’s no clear reason at all. Instead of treating that as a loss, this song leans into peace with it, the idea that not every love is meant to happen right now, but that doesn’t make it any less real.

It’s about letting go without bitterness, and holding onto the hope that some connections aren’t over… they’re just waiting for the right moment, somewhere down the line.

“Bleed Me Slow” carries a subtle reggae influence, inspired by the music of Bob Marley and a space in my life at a time where everything felt more reflective and real. The song comes from a quiet kind of past heartbreak, the kind that doesn’t break all at once, but slowly fades until you realize what you’re losing.

It’s about a love that felt steady and familiar, like home in the simplest way. There were no dramatic endings or heavy arguments, just a gradual distance that grew while everything still looked the same on the surface. That’s what made it hurt more.

This song is my way of capturing those in-between moments, the silence, the drifting, and the feeling of holding on to someone who’s already starting to let go. And maybe, selfishly, wishing that if something has to end, it doesn’t have to disappear all at once.

“The Tears Are Gone” is a slow, soulful R&B track about letting go of a painful past and finding strength on the other side. Blending smooth melodies with emotional storytelling, the song traces the journey from heartbreak and sleepless nights to healing, clarity, and self-empowerment. It’s a reminder that even the deepest wounds can lead to growth, and that peace is possible when you finally move on.
